The Root Cellar Floor Plan
Building an in-ground root cellar is not always possible, in those cases an above-ground root cellar is a wonderful solution. This outbuilding is perfect for those who have large harvests to store but need an above-ground cold storage option.
The large pantry with floor to ceiling shelves and separate cold room allow for storage of canned goods, roots, gourds, herbs, and more.
Space for 2 large freezers is included in the pantry. The porch can be screened in for drying, if desired.
