Hello there. My name is Lee Moore. I am the founder and chief designer for HomesteadHousePlans.com.
I am a father, grandfather, veteran, professional engineer, home designer, and builder. I started designing and building custom homes in 1984 and I have never looked back
Over the years, my family and I have lived in eighteen new homes. Because we have moved so much, we bought a number of our homes already built. After spending some months in our current home, we decided to make our cookie-cutter home fit our life instead of making our life fit the home. We developed a process to REALLY work out what we wanted and needed. Then we got busy and worked through the process. It worked out very well for us but it would have worked out even better had we designed and built our house to fit our life from the start.
In 2020 I made the decision to spend the rest of my work life helping other folks work through the process of knowing what they want and need and then creating a great set of custom home plans to fit those needs.
