First, I want to thank you for visiting our site. I know we said we would have weekly updates last year but we fell short of that with all that has been happening behind the scenes. My apologies.
Over the past 8 months, I had to opportunity to work on and complete building one of my newest plans, the Homesteader Victoria. It was a great experience and I am more convinced than ever that our plans are a great product. You can find the plans for the Homesteader Victoria on our website.
We are in the process of upgrading all of our plan sets. Most house plan sites offer a basic exterior wall and perhaps one foundation option. Other exterior wall options, right reading reverse plans and other foundation options are an extra charge. We have decided to include these options as a part of our standard offering.
All of our upgraded plan sets now include the following at no extra charge:
- The Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) exterior wall as standard
- The option for 2 x 6 exterior walls
- A slab-on-grade foundation plan
- A basement/crawl-space foundation plan
- An option for permanent stairs to attic storage, when a storage attic is included
- Space for basement stairs
- A full set of right reading reverse plans for the ICF option
All plan sets still include detailed interior wall sections for the kitchen, bathrooms, laundry, and pantry.
We are offering our plan sets, with the included options, at a rate that is competitive to the other site’s base offering without the options.
Over the past year we have also been fielding plan modification and custom design requests. This has been popular enough that we have decided to offer it as part of our regular offering. The service will include virtual design meetings and plenty of time for you to review and “live” in the plan before we finalize it and produce the construction plan set.

While we finish upgrading our existing plans (only 4 left to update!) we’ve also released three brand new plans. If there is a plan set you would like to purchase that has not been upgraded drop us a note and let us know. We’ll bump it to the top of the upgrade list.
